About Me

Zibby.Wilder-1I have over 15 years of experience as a communications integrator, melding traditional public relations and online marketing expertise into winning outreach and and social media initiatives for consumer, hi-tech and non-profit businesses. In plain-speak:  I develop successful new media strategies for businesses looking to connect with markets and customers online.

I have had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of amazing companies including Lego, General Mills, the Discovery Channel, Microsoft and Seattle Weekly as well as leading non-profits.

My experience spans the spectrum from producing one of the first-ever online “Astronaut Chats” for kids – publicizing Lego’s new Astronaut play set – and media for the worldwide launch of Microsoft Windows 95, to creating and producing award-winning web sites and online communities for Discovery Kids, Humongous Entertainment, Cavedog Entertainment, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and Born Free USA.

bird4In 1998, I was featured in the groundbreaking book Cybergrrl: A Woman’s Guide to the World Wide Web.  Of late, I have presented on social media strategy and communications to business groups across the nation including the Public Relations Society of America, Women Business Owners, and the Center for NonProfit Success. I currently work with Village Voice Media as the web editor for Seattle Weekly and am co-owner of the gallery space East Union.
